The Council Chamber is a versatile wood-panelled conference suite with excellent state-of-the-art built-in equipment. The high ceilings and large windows in the Council Chamber create a light and airy atmosphere. The Council Chamber’s hired for many events including film shoots, product launches, training days, conferences and meetings.

In addition, the four large meeting rooms across the 5th-floor landing and reception area are ideal for catering, meeting and break-out areas when booked in conjunction with the Council Chamber.

If you’re looking for a hi-tech training room in London, Council Chamber has everything an organiser could wish for. With nearly 200 square metres of floor space, loads of natural light and beautiful high ceilings, the room has an energy in which your team can thrive.

Hi-tech hybrid conference event space

Hybrid events and conferences work excellently in the Council Chamber due to the hi-tech facilities and airy atmosphere. The Council Chamber can accommodate up to 160 delegates in theatre style, making it ideal for medium-sized conferences and hybrid events in a central London location. Hybrid events work excellently in this event space due to its state-of-the-art event tech such as a 10 x 6ft screen, HD digital projector, and digital sound system. Council Chamber FAQs

Is the equipment included in the Council Chamber room hire cost?

Yes, the Council Chamber benefits from extensive state-of-the-art tech and equipment. If you require additional equipment for your event, you can discuss this with your dedicated event manager, who will provide you with a quote. Our in-house technicians are also available for 10-hour hire – minimum £360 (Monday – Friday).

Is the Council Chamber wheelchair accessible?

We ensure all our spaces are accessible to everyone. Congress Centre has an entrance ramp and lifts accommodating standard wheelchairs and low-level buttons with voiceover.

Can I access the Council Chamber early to set up for my event?

Early access is dependent on the other events happening in Congress Centre. In some circumstances, we can arrange for this but to avoid disappointment, we recommend mentioning your set-up and break-down needs as soon as possible upon enquiry.
